The Baltic Investment Group Bank (BIG) will be organising a special family day this week in honour of Mothers Day in a number of cities in Estonia for families with many children, who will be given the opportunity to enjoy the delights the cities' water parks have to offer, completely free of charge.
Invitations to the event, organised by BIG in association with the Union of Large Families of Estonia, have been extended to every family with six or more young children from Tallinn and Harju, Pärnu, Tartu, Viljandi and Ida- and Lääne-Viru Counties - a total of 308 families. The invitations were delivered to the families with the assistance of local governments.
2008 will be the fourth year that the family event has been held. According to Triin Lember, the project manager for the event, it is designed to recognise and thank Estonia's large families in light of Mothers Day. "Our experience in the last few years shows that this kind of event is really needed, because for most large families visiting a water park is simply beyond their means. That's why participation this year is once again very active."
This year's events will take place at the following times and places:

Tuesday 6 May - Rakvere water park for large families from Lääne- and Ida-Viru Counties;

Wednesday 7 May - Tervise Paradiis for large families from the City of Pärnu and Pärnu County;

Thursday 8 May - Kalev Spa for large families from Tallinn and Harju County; Aura centre for large families from Viljandi County; and
-
Friday 9 May - Aura centre for large families from the City of Tartu and Tartu County.
