On Thursday, 16 June, the Baltic Investment Group (BIG) will open an office in the Viljandi bus station centre, known also as the Anttila shopping centre.
"Our aim is to make BIG's services quicker and more easily accessible," said Targo Raus, Chairman of the Management Board of BIG, to comment on the extension.
Opening the Viljandi office is a step to make BIG's services simpler and quicker also in South Estonia. "Today we are represented in South Estonia only in Tartu. For example, if a resident of Viljandi wishes to borrow money from us, he has to consider whether to go to Tartu, Tallinn, or Pärnu. No matter what the choice, the journey will take up almost a whole working day. Not speaking about the residents of the rest of the county, for example Võhma, Suure-Jaani or Abja-Paluoja," Raus explained.
In 2005, BIG continues its 2004 strategy of active extension of the sales network. Last year BIG opened its offices in the Lasnamäe Centrum and ÿlemiste Centre in Tallinn and in the Narva Centrum in Narva; this year BIG intends to open four new offices altogether.
AS Balti Investeeringute Grupp is the largest lender to private individuals in the Baltic states after banks and leasing companies. The company's growth and success have stemmed from flexible loan products and conditions for both private and corporate customers.
