Balti Investeeringute Grupp (BIG), a credit institution specialising in lending money to private clients, has concluded a cooperation agreement with the Expert chain of technology goods stores (Expert Tehnikakauplused), enabling customers to conclude a financing contract with BIG directly at the store.
BIG began its activities in the retail sector in September of this year when it was the first to conclude the corresponding cooperation agreement with the Enter IT-Market retail chain of stores selling digital goods. Expert Tehnikakauplused is the second trade enterprise with a retail chain covering all Estonia that has joined BIG's payment by instalment system.
According to Targo Raus, Chairman of the Board of BIG, the goal of BIG's cooperation with retail merchants is to offer customers even more readily available, flexible and faster solutions.
Sulev Sivard, Sales Manager of Expert Tehnikakauplused, commented that the enterprise hopes to achieve a substantial increase in customer numbers as from now on Expert stores are also convenient for purchases for such customers who for some reason have not received a consumer loan offered by large universal banks.
To conclude a contract with BIG at the store, the customer must choose a suitable item of goods at that store and fill out the BIG financing application with the assistance of a salesperson ⿿ and a response will arrive for the customer in just 15 minutes. The contract will be signed at the store and the customer will immediately receive the purchased goods. There is no need to actually visit a BIG branch.
Expert Estonia AS, operating under the Expert Tehnikakauplused trademark, is part of the world's largest chain of electronics stores under a common trademark ⿿ it has over 7400 stores in 22 countries. There are currently 17 such Expert stores in Estonia.
BIG is the largest specialised lender of money to private clients in the Baltic States after banks and leasing companies. BIG's goal is to provide both private and business clients with fast, attentive and flexible financial services. In September of this year BIG received a permit to operate as a credit institution ⿿ a banking licence.
Currently BIG has 11 branches all over Estonia.
